REFLEXOLOGY FOR YOUR MIND, HORMONES AND SLEEP
Insomnia, irregular cycles, infertility, menopause, stress, anxiety, depression......
I have grouped mental wellbeing with hormones and sleep, not because they are the same thing at all, but because I often find a lot of crossover in these issues. Sometimes imbalanced hormones affect our sleep. Sometimes anxiety keeps us awake. Sometimes our hormones make us feel anxious..... I am sure you can see where I am going.
As with physical issues, I have to be transparent that reflexology will not cure a complex hormonal issue. Nor will one treatment alone make you fall pregnant. But, reflexology is magical at helping to restore balance across the whole body and that includes our hormones. This in itself can really help to tackle a whole host of the issues already mentioned.
We all know that stress is negative for us but it is also very hard to avoid in modern life. The primary stress hormone Cortisol can curb any non-essential function which is why stress alone can affect our fertility, sex drive and ability to relax. Stress can leave us feeling anxious, depressed and can rob us of sleep.
Reflexology is a brilliant way to relax and regular treatments can significantly improve your stress levels, boost your energy flow, help to balance hormones and improve your mental well being.
